Buro Biru X Studio GK15

For their project Weave The Story, Studio GK15 had an idea for a big vertical weaving frame. According to their concept, various people can participate in weaving the wallcloth a little further. Over time a joint object or story will be created with different colors and different shapes by different people.

Studio GK15 asked Buro Biru to translate their concept in a vertical weaving system against the wall. Buro Biru created this prototype with clear lines and heavy contrast, based on the family of shelving units. This prototype is made out of steel and steamed beech wood. The dimensions are 90cm x 120cm. The weaving frame is installed in café / store Blur in Amersfoort NL.

In the near future the family of vertical weaving frames will be extended.
